⛓️Forged in the heart of Athens during the mid-90s, FORTRESS UNDER SIEGE stands as one of Greece’s pioneering forces in progressive power metal. Seamlessly blending traditional heavy metal with melodic and technically intricate arrangements, the band has carved a distinctive path through
the global metal scene

⚡Their self-titled debut mini-CD in 1996 marked a bold entrance, establishing them as one of the very
first Greek bands to embrace and shape the progressive power metal genre. Since then, Fortress Under Siege has built an impressive discography with four acclaimed full-length albums

?“Envy,” their most recent and most powerful release to date, was recorded at Devasoundz Studios with producer Fotis Benardo (ex-Septicflesh, SixforNine). Released on October 13, 2023, via ROAR! Rock of Angels Records, the album delivers a modern power metal punch while staying true to the band's epic and progressive roots. Its rich lyrical themes span from mythology and history to sci-fi and social commentary, with striking cover artwork by renowned painter Ioannis Koutrikas, portraying a
symbolic vision of envy as a horned female beauty.
