The Cairns Manufacturing Hub in collaboration with Vative, is delivering another Lean workshop in Cairns.
The Lean workshop offers a deeply engaging and hands-on learning opportunity, strategically crafted to equip
participants with the necessary tools and methodologies for spearheading Lean improvement initiatives within
their organisations.
Through the application of Lean principles, this program strives to ensure a tangible return on investment (ROI) for
improvement projects. It proves to be an excellent fit for leaders, managers, supervisors, technical experts and
even general staff who play a pivotal role in driving change and establishing a culture of Continuous Improvement
to deliver increased productivity, profitability and growth.
Over a period of 2 days, the workshop highlights Lean manufacturing and other related productivity improvement
concepts, reinforced by the simulation of a series of manual processes (typically representing production or office
processes) by assembling Lego bricks (i.e. “learning by doing”).
Several runs will be conducted in the workshop,
with participants progressively improving each run by changing the Lego simulation process according to the Lean
principles introduced between each run.
Key Performance Indicators will be measured for each run, revealing
quantitative improvements during the course of the Workshop.
