Athletes from Cairns and surrounding regions will take to the platform at the 2026 APL BACKYARD BATTLE, to showcase their strength in the Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift.

The 2026 APL BACKYARD BATTLE is a DRUG TESTED competition sanctioned with AUSTRALIAN POWERLIFTING LEAGUE, and is a qualifying event for the APL Drug Tested Nationals in September 2026.
