Lace up your sneakers and breathe in the fresh mountain air—the beloved Railroad Days 5K is back for 2025! This year’s event, themed “Rails to Trails: 5K for Fresh Air,” is held in proud partnership with the Northern Sierra Air Quality Management District to celebrate community health, clean air, and active living.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or bringing the whole family for the Toddler Dash, there’s a trail for everyone.

Come run (or walk!) the scenic trails of Portola and kick off Railroad Days weekend with energy, laughter, and community spirit.
