BEIP Tours Presents: Family Day in Colón!

The wait is OVER! Join Black Expats in Panamá® for our very first BEIP Family Day in Colón — an unforgettable day of cultural celebration, learning, and connection for the entire family!
🌴 This all-inclusive adventure includes:
• Round-trip transportation from Panama City to Portobelo and Colón
• Certified bilingual tour guide
• Bottled water on the bus
• Delicious lunch
• Interactive activities for children ages 5–12
🎭 What to Expect:
• Hands-on cultural exchange between visiting children and local Panamanian youth
• Fun games, jewelry making, and dance lessons
• Learn about the rich Afro-Panamanian heritage and Congo traditions
• Tour the Museo de la Real Aduana de Portobelo. also referred to as the Royal Customs House and Afro-Panamanian Museum,
• Opportunity to wear and/or purchase traditional Congo attire
• Explore the powerful history of Portobelo and Colón
Bonus: You’ll have the chance to order your very own pollera, the beautiful traditional dress worn by girls and women during Congo celebrations. (Order needs to be placed no less than 30 days prior to the tour for custom dresses)
Bonus: We are so excited to work directly with the Portobelo community. This is an amazing opportunity for them to play a bigger, more direct and more lucrative role in tourism in their community. We are super excited to work with them on this tour.
