“Zikrayat: A Tribute to the Legends of Belly Dance” is an ode to the legacy of women who have shaped raqs sharqi (belly dance) to what it is today. Each cast member will perform a piece inspired by their chosen icon from distant or recent history. Join us for a journey through raqs sharqi’s most celebrated memories (zikrayat)! 

The cast of “Zikrayat” includes Heather & Ella of Al Wadi Dance Company and professional dancers from the West Coast: Aksana, Bipasa, Elena Villa, Elinore Edge, Lilah Z, Nazaneen, Omega, and Shaunti Fera.

Tickets $45 in advance, $60 at the door.
