Yak Attack is a live electronica power trio creating ecstatic and uplifting dance music grown in the Pacific Northwest. We mix a primordial soup from every genre in our wild, virtuosic, flow of a show, but we remain tethered to the pulse of underground raves and community roots. A Yak show is a DJ set with live instruments, from house to breakbeats to drum n bass, with jazz, funk, fusion, jam, and everything in between, with seamless transitions, twists and turns, virtuosic playing, fresh soundscapes, and an amazing community. We’ve played countless late nights, afterparties, festivals, venues, toured with the big boys and uplifted the hometown heroes. And we’re just about to lift off. No fourth walls, no backing tracks, just pure service to the beat, from our brains to your ears. Real live music played by real live humans. Let’s get down.
