𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 "𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐳𝐞"? By gathering in consensual and resourced presence, we actively interrupt the systems of separation that colonizing forces rely on. Together, we will create a soft, snuggly freedom zone—a living experiment in how humans can belong, co-regulate, and wield the power we have right now! 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡: • authentic relating in a beautifully curated space • creative, playful, embodied ritual (*SOMAGIC*) • (optional) platonic, loving touch and ceremony (This is an intermediate level event - best suited for those with some experience in consent-based environments who can take responsibility for their impact and participation. If that’s you, you’ll likely feel deeply at home here.) 𝑭𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒉𝒚, 𝒕𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒅, 𝒐𝒓 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒚𝒔, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕? Troi founded Snuggle Lab in 2015 and has been pioneering consent-based, positive-touch culture in the PNW for over 20 years. They have been directly trained by Betty Martin, creator of the Wheel of Consent, and they further serve their community as a Holistic RN, and multi-modality healing arts practitioner. (𝐰𝐰𝐰.𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐮𝐳.𝐜𝐨𝐦) Troi is known for holding containers that are both practically grounded and energetically attuned—warm, discerning, playful, and precise. They bring lived experience as a queer, non-binary, neuro-fabulous, plush-size person. Troi comes from displaced Ukrainian lineage, their work is deeply informed by intergenerational resilience and a devotion to healing personal and collective trauma through embodied, relational practice. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭? "This was profound...I felt calm and held, able to lean into the safe, platonic support offered by [..]. It was a healing experience and helped me re-orient back to feeling safer in society, and my healing journey." Oakland, 2026 "Thank you for creating this amazing space! I was pleasantly surprised at the connection exercises & how they bonded us all so deeply. I would describe this to a friend as an amazing experience of fun, games, and connection to root myself more deeply within, as well as connect with like minded humans. Oakland, 2025 "[Troi] You have such magic in facilitating incredibly held transition states." Oakland, 2026 "This event was like a psychedelic experience for me. When is the next one? " Oakland, 2026 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐧𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐛 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: "...The opportunity to experience gentle and healing touch from people I did not know beforehand was both terribly intimidating but also quite interesting... [Troi] made it a comfortable, safe space where my anxieties were immediately put at ease, and provided a wonderful consent-aware framework in which we could all flourish. Thank you again! -David, Portland, 2025 "I was struck by how accessible it was regardless of someone’s experience with this kind of work. I was expecting to be a lot more intimidated than I was. Felt like it was hard to do it wrong here, like there was an unconditional validation that I was enough...my experience was okay, that I was always doing it right. I found it useful to hear [Troi] speak about touch as a fundamental need and to consider touch accessibility/universality. Thank you for what you do!" -Anon, Portland, 2025 "I highly recommend this event...There were great transition exercises to ease people into feeling more connected with themselves, with individuals, and with the group. I especially appreciated that it expanded beyond touch to see and connect to each other as whole persons. It’s a personal growth kind of space and I look forward to the next time it comes around." -Diana, Portland, 2025
