Join Jennie Ferrare (Arcana Owner, E-RYT 500, BA Psychology, Master of Social work student) , Anne Esguerra (1000 Hour Yoga Therapist) for a weekend long deep dive into yoga, embodiment, somatics, ethics, teaching techniques and the neurobiology of trauma in the body. This training will be geared towards 200 and 500 hour yoga instructors looking to integrate trauma informed principles into their teaching, as well as social workers and counselors with deep yoga knowledge looking for more information on trauma and embodiment. Training runs Saturday & Sunday time for trauma-informed yoga and embodiment practices, lecture, discussion, practicum and ample break time.
This course will take place at Arcana, 81 Market street in Portland, Maine.
COURSE is eligible for 14 hours of CEUs though the Yoga Alliance
COST is $375; option to pay $100 deposit to hold your spot and the remaining $275 before training
TIME COMMITMENT: January 31st + February 1st
SATURDAY & SUNDAY: 9:30am-5pm
