This time of year is when the veil is said to be thinnest between the walking/waking world and the Spirit world. It is a time to pay tribute to, call upon, give thanks, and remember our Ancestors. In some traditions it is believed the Spirits of the dead are not able to move on from this world and find peace unless they are remembered. Join in community and honor our ancestors together. This sound bath consists of a short, guided meditation followed by an extended Crystal Bowl Sound Bath. This sound healing experience will bring you on a journey that supports your physical and emotional well-being.*Please arrive early to get settled so that we may start on time. Doors will be locked at start of event. Dress in layers for warmth. There are plenty of mats, and some blankets (these tend to run out during colder months) and bolsters to use at the studio while supplies last. Comfort is key so bring whatever you need for maximum comfort. I suggest you have: blanket, eye mask, pillow.* *You are welcome to park in the A-boy plumbing parking lot on the corner of NE 40th and Broadway after 6pm.***I always set up an altar space so please bring a small item to place on it during the sound bath to honor someone/something, set an intention or infuse with good energy - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/portland/the-thinning-veil-crystal-bowl-sound-bath-an-honoring-of-ancestors/100002001924338587 - **Event Categories**: fitness, health-wellness - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes - Location: SomaSpace - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 33.85, max: 49.87, currency: USD ## Event venue details - **city**: Portland - **state**: OR - **country**: United States - **location**: SomaSpace - **lat**: 45.53498219999999 - **long**: -122.6215004 - **full address**: SomaSpace, 4050 Northeast Broadway, Portland, United States ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: The Thinning Veil Crystal Bowl Sound Bath: An Honoring of Ancestors - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events5/banners/7b633bde29cdabbec452e2b97999062e7f4fc54cbdc3572ef092e9b7931780c4-rimg-w1200-h900-dc181818-gmir.jpg?v=1790088366 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is The Thinning Veil Crystal Bowl Sound Bath: An Honoring of Ancestors being held? - **A:** The Thinning Veil Crystal Bowl Sound Bath: An Honoring of Ancestors takes place on Thu, 29 Oct, 2026 at 07:00 pm to Thu, 29 Oct, 2026 at 08:30 pm at SomaSpace, 4050 Northeast Broadway, Portland, United States. - **Q**: Who is organizing The Thinning Veil Crystal Bowl Sound Bath: An Honoring of Ancestors? - **A:** The Thinning Veil Crystal Bowl Sound Bath: An Honoring of Ancestors is organized by Laura Li Fong Yee. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
