It's a very hypnotic, ethereal experience.Come join us at this epic venue! Show is indoors, gardens outdoors. Give this a try!***Our symphony is conducted by Guy Douglas, and features an array of amazing & talented musicians on gongs, crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, Native American flutes, Didgeridoo, Celtic Harp, Monochord, Vibraphone and so much more.Led by Guy Douglas {conductor, singing bowls & gongs}Guy Douglas also known as "The Gong Guy" has been a sound healing practitioner and gong master for over 15 years. He has been involved with the healing power of music his whole life from a variety of perspectives: writing, recording, producing, and performing. He values a philosophy of music that helps clear dormant pathways to open the heart. As one of the executive directors of SMP, he's on a mission to share these sounds, particularly the gong.Russell Feingold {didgeridoo & Native American Flute}Russell is a shamanic sound healer, ceremonialist, and author of Heart Wisdom, with more than 25 years on the path of Peruvian Shamanism and over 30 years of experience in holistic healing, meditation, and energy medicine. Grounded in deep care for community and Pachamama, he is a cherished collaborator and board member of our new nonprofit.Matthew Tutsky {harp}Matthew is the Principal Harpist with the Oregon Symphony, Portland Opera, and Oregon Ballet Theatre, and has previously held similar roles with other major philharmonics.Elizabeth Byrd {cello}Elizabeth is a classically trained cellist who studied at Juilliard and performed with the Metropolitan Opera and the London Festival Orchestra. She went on to pioneer Tonal Vibration Therapy alongside Dr. John Upledger and founded the Academy of Cello Sound Healing, bringing the cello's low, full resonance into deep states of rest.Jeffri Lynn Carrington {vocals}Jeffri is a multi-genre vocalist with an angelic and ethereal voice who recently moved to the Pacific Northwest. Combining classical training and vast experience performing with many ensembles both in the US and internationally, she breathes intention and heartfelt emotion into every note.Simona Asinovski {monolina & vibraphone}Simona Asinovski is one of the creative forces behind Sound Meditation Presents. As executive director, she's committed to sharing this practice of deep rest and restoration with as many people as possible.
