In these programs, Maine Audubon Field Naturalist Stacia Brezinski will introduce participants to the plants and animals in three unique urban habitats: Parks, Waterfront, and Preserves. This series is a collaboration with the City of Portland Sustainability Office and the Equality Community Center.

Binoculars are encouraged, but not necessary, and some pairs will be available to borrow. This program is free, registration is required.

To participate in the stewardship of our urban habitats, we’ll collect litter that we see during our Parks and Waterfront walks using cleanup kits provided by the Sustainability Office. Celebrate sustainable transit by riding the bus with our naturalist to the Preserves walk at Gilsland Farm.
