- **Event Description**: The South Portland Food Cupboard is hosting our 2026 Monthly Cars & Coffee Season Opener May 9th. This month it will be located at our BRAND NEW Food Cupboard building at 443 Western Ave. South Portland, Maine 04106 from 8am - 10am. Come enjoy the cars and take a tour of our new building and finally get to see firsthand how we “Feed Our Neighbors In Need.” Our Cars & Coffee is held every second Saturday of the month from May through October from 8am to 11am with an exception for August as we will be holding our Annual Fundraiser Car Show. Let’s feed the community with our cars!

$10 entry fee for show cars, all proceeds go directly towards “Feeding Neighbors in Need.” We’ve done the calculations and it’s $20 per person per month to keep our operation going. That’s 1 person fed for a month for every 2 cars at the event. The proceeds help go towards not just the cost of running the building but also for buying fresh produce for recipients. We distribute 17 tons of food per week to all of our 22,000 recipients across Southern Maine (York and Cumberland County). 

We hope to see you all at the Maine Mall every month. Together as a car community we can make a positive impact on the community directly. Let’s start “Feeding Neighbors in Need.”
