ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Kirsten began practicing yoga over 20 years ago. What started as a curious connection to movement after years of dance and sports later became a lifeline to re-connect to self, ease anxiety, and return to what feels true. She attended Hawaii School of Yoga in 2016 and started teaching soon thereafter. Kirsten sees yoga as a radical opportunity to regulate, restore, rest, and return, especially amongst the pains and challenges of various forms of systemic oppression we all face. Her hope is to provide yoga that is accessible and to allow space for people to find their own refuge through breath, intrinsic internal strength, intuitive alignment, and collective connection.
