Broken hearts and grief are welcome. Wells of beauty and dreams of springing life are welcome... Listening ears and hearts are needed. Songs, poems, spoken word, stories, improvisation, dreams, dances that fit in a very small space! are all welcome... We hope to see you there! ____ Please stay home if you're sick or have had a known exposure to Covid or other highly contagious bug! There is a lot going around right now, please help us all stay as well as possible. Please stay home if you are sick or have been exposed to covid or other contagious illnesses! ___ After our travels in the UK and Ireland, we were inspired to host this space where there is no stage and no microphone, and all are free to share around the circle. We were especially lit up and inspired by the sweet open mic we joined in a little stone pub in St. Just, Cornwall, which was in this same style - people sharing songs, poetry and stories, and playing along with each other's songs. And by the open sessions we were welcomed into in Dingle - An Daingean, Ireland, which were mostly for traditional Irish tunes, but with a mixture of this same style of sharing! In a similar vein to those sessions, this is a space that can be open for improvising and playing on each other's songs if it is wanted, and just as welcome to play on your own as well! ______ We are so grateful to Nalu Kava for being such a warm and welcoming place for gathering, and for the opportunity to host this circle!
