We’re living in painful and polarized times. Given the events of this year alone, the lingering threat of political violence and extremism requires a strong sense of urgency and immediate action. Join Brown Hope and We Can Listen for Restoring Civility in Chaotic Times, an evening of storytelling and meaningful discussion about our collective future.
November 11 was first recognized as Armistice Day in 1918 and is a perfect opportunity to come together and wrestle with the challenges of today. This is an intentional space to listen and learn— featuring a panel of local experts on civics, de-escalation, and crossing political divides, followed by facilitated breakout discussions about how we can restore the dignity and respect needed for a healthy, thriving democracy.
Through understanding and celebrating our different stories, we can transform political conflict and make an important step towards freedom.
