A large part of your scrapbook content is photographs. This 2 hours event will explore some professional photography techniques so your photographs retain the life and feel that you remembered in the moment, and be able to convey that energy to your scrapbook readers. We will discuss some technical camera details (not a lot!), as well as composition elements, which will make your photography more representative, engaging, and compelling.

From there, we will cover how to approach an event to help ensure the best results possible, while being mindful to stay in the moment yourself. You are a part of these memories!

Donald Alley is a southeast Michigan based photographer with 30+ years experience in photojournalism, sports, and event work. He has held chief photographer positions for 2 magazines, as well as work as a photojournalist for regional newspapers. As a father to a 17 year old, he knows the importance that photography holds in capturing life’s fleeting moments.
