Welcome to Port Veritas! We meet every Tuesday night in person at the Equality Community Center at 15 Casco St in Portland AND online. We typically end by 9:30 pm EST, but we have the space until 10 pm EST.
In person friends, please remain masked in the building. If you are reading, you may take off your mask only while reading.
The ECC has an accessible ramp at the North entrance, and three low steps with railings at the front entrance on Casco Street.

Alessandra Nysether-Santos (they/she) is a Brazilian American and Jersey Italian writer, artist, and educator living in north Florida with her sweet lil family. Alessandra was a winner of the 2025 Garden Party Collective Chapbook Contest with their first published book, fat magic. They have poems in places like Monarca: the Zine, North Carolina Literary Review, and Até Mais: An Anthology of Latinx Futurisms. Alessandra facilitates community offerings like creative workshops, faith exploration programs at her local Unitarian Universalist church, and moon circles.
