Wear or carry your pride gear and flags, we will be OUT and PROUD together as we explore and get to know the plants and critters we meet along the trail -- wear sturdy shoes and be sure to bring comfort, safety, and observation tools like sunscreen, bug repellant, water bottles, binoculars, and field guides!Our host Laura Grover, or just Grove (they/she), is a Maine Master Naturalist and a lover of birds, plants and all the "freaky little guys" in nature. As an ambassador for queering the world, Grove leads ecology walks on beautiful Wabanaki land in hopes that bringing people together outside will help create community, respite, reciprocity and resilience; all the things needed in order to do the work of building a better, and more animal, world.
