This month we are diving into the world of competitive swing dancing! Every week we will practice the major components you'll want to incorporate into your practice regimen to prepare for a Lindy-Hop competition. If you've been waiting for an opportunity to wet your feet in the world of competitions, this is your chance. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from someone with over 10 years of competitive dancing experience!
Not sure whether you're ready to dive into competitions just yet? ALL of the content covered this month will be aimed at developing your dancing to the next level, as well as provide you the framework to take control of your dance journey. Come play around with us all December long!
>>What's a practicum and social dance?
We DJ music just like a regular social dance. You can come out and just dance like normal, or you can come planning to work on something: Ask for feedback, work on a move, play with variations, master a routine.
>>Have a specific question?
Experienced dancers and local teachers are available at practicum to help out with sticky spots.
