The City of Portland Parks and Recreation Department is proud to offer our Summer Kidz Kamp program, co-sponsored by Gregory-Portland ISD. The program is offered to children 5-12 years of age who will be entering Kindergarten through 6th grade for the 2026-2027 school year.  Activities include games, sports, swimming, science and nature activities, field trips, special events, arts and crafts, healthy eating, and a summer jogging club.  The children are grouped by ages and class size is limited.  All instructors are certified in CPR/First Aid.  This program is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.  Transportation can be provided from swim lessons.  Parent must notify staff of enrollment to arrange pick up.  Lunch will be provided through the GPISD Summer Food Program.  
 
Full Summer
Complete eight-week Kidz Kamp:  $90 a week per child and $60 registration fee.  Registration fee and the first week of tuition is due at time of enrollment.
