One is not born, but rather becomes, a woman
-Simone Beauvoir
What is Radical Feminism? Why have a radical feminist comedy show?
Here’s some history :
Well - this can be subjective much like comedy depending on who you ask. For us - it means that the struggle and experiences of women and other out-groups such as those in the LGBTQ community and people of color is that we have common goals and aspirations of making the world a more equitable place. A place that will continue to not be, if we don’t come together as a collective and if our ideas aren’t amplified.
Ideas are powerful. They can shift the paradigm. They can topple governments. And they can also make many people laugh their tuchus off. This is not your average comedy show - this is a lineup carefully curated for those among us who want to hear diverse and female centric voices be showcased and what they have to say under this current political climate. We are putting the fun back in feminist rage with an all-star line up to boot 🎭
Headlining is ALEXIS CRISTALDI
Alexis Cristaldi is a quick witted and energetic rising star in the Boston comedy scene. She’s won Laugh Boston’s ‘Tight 5’ Competition, Hamden, Connecticut’s ‘Who is the Funniest Person’ Competition, and placed second in Fall River’s Comedy Clash. She can be seen performing all over the East Coast, and has opened for AJ Wilkerson, Joe Bartnick, and Sam Ramsdell. Alexis is the co-producer of 13th Road and Glovebox Comedy Club, and co-producer and cohost of the Serving Blunt podcast.
FEATURING AIMEE ROSE RANGER
Originally from Maine, Aimee Rose Ranger is excited to be back in this great state after years of working in New York City as a comedian and actor. Aimee grew up in Fairfield, Maine but got her comedy start in Boston. She has headlined colleges across the country and has been featured in the Brooklyn Comedy Festival and Rogue Island Comedy Festival. Aimee is the creator of a crowd favorite Brooklyn show, The Ranger Zone- a comedy poetry variety show she co-hosted with her poet twin sister, April, for several years. She now resides in Lewiston, Maine with her four year old daughter. Her comedy is quirky, whimsical, and rooted in storytelling.
KRISTA PATRONICK!! Who has been performing comedy throughout New England since 2023. After the death of her husband in 2022, Patronick brings a “hot young widows club” perspective to her comedy. Everything from dealing with loss to dating again in her mid-thirties, Patronick aims to let others know they aren’t alone in experiencing grief and it’s okay to laugh. She has done the Portland Maine comedy festival, the Northeastern PA Comedy Festival and featured for Jared Freid of Betches Media and Netflix.
ROE ROBINSON!!
Roe is a 30 year old comedian who aims to making people chortle with a few jokes about her trailer park days and being gay. She lives in Bangor with her fiance, two weens, four cats and a big mean frog. She's in a Masters program at Husson to become a school based clinician so that she can get paid to nurture & bully the nations future adults. She may be new, but she will definitely educate anyone in the audience and will charm you with her ‘up north witticisms.
Brynn Dagenais is a young comic, freshly hatched even, right out of the coop but she is no spring chicken to comedy ! Her fearless, ruthlessly witty humor has been described as *chefs kiss* 💋 She hails originally from Bar Harbor in Maine (also known as small Portland). A graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, she spends her time increasingly going to Thursday trivia and waiting patiently for the imminent demise and ultimate collapse of late stage capitalism.
GRACE MACK!! Portland, Maine comedian who has performed all over New England since she started doing stand up a year ago. She tells candid stories about society, womanhood, and relationships in an honest yet hilarious way that many can relate to! She’s like your unhinged best friend and the audience loves every second of it.
MICHELLE LISI!! Michelle is a feminist comic, poet, mother, icon and educator dedicated to disassembling the patriarchy, one bro at a time. Part goofball, part cynic, Michelle is a regular on line ups for Gals & Pals and Misfits shows in Portland. SHE ALSO CREATED B/TCH RIFF. Shout out to every fascist who inspires resistance with their tiny hands energy. You’re going down.
JENNIFER ROSE!!! Jenn’s rancorous yet subtle style is definitely for everyone but especially the person in your life who does not find anything funny. You put her on a microphone in front of the most miserable person and she is sure to make them bawl laughing. They occasionally will yell out, “That’s the funniest [expletive] I’ve heard all night!” Jenn’s motto is “My Truck Runneth Over”, she is a survivor and has found Jesus. She used to be a goddamn delight, now she is a God Blessed Delight after her baptism, recently. Jenn is a Jane of all trades and a ride or die for her friends. Catch her before she blows up because her stand up is set to be featured on Amazon Prime in a documentary!
CLAIRE MUSCAT!!! is a new comic but is not to be underestimated; her self-awareness of her own cynicism is only matched with her charming way of piecing together her own puzzle to the audience’s own delight and is kind of like great therapy for them.
