Featuring SquishLab, holiday karaoke & open mic, festive potluck dinner, movie night, and slumber party! (There is no pressure to sleep over - come & go as you please.) 

This is a platonic connection event where all of us can feel safer to express, feel, play, & witness each other. There is no pressure to cuddle! Coregulation & safety building happens not only through touch but also through proximity. Shared moments of eye contact. Shared soft voices. Being near one another while we explore our own experience. This is the good stuff!

General itinerary (times are approximate, we shall be in flow):
FRIDAY EVE 
6:30-7:30 arrive & settle in
7:30 opening circle, community agreements, consent chat
7:45 SquishLab! (more info below)
8:45 Holiday karaoke / open mic with continued cuddles. Feel welcome (but no pressure) to share whatever feels present & important to you!
10ish: transition into quieter vibes with a holiday movie on the big screen. Those sleeping over may choose to sleep in the downstairs area where the movie is playing, or upstairs in the squish nest.

SATURDAY MORNING
We will organically wake up and hang out together, coffee, tea & breakfast will be available for purchase from Himmapan Cafe. Feel welcome to bring your own breakfast or something to share too.

If you can, please bring festive food/snacks to share for the potluck on Friday night. We have a kitchen and fridge to use. 

Also bring: pads, mats, blankets etc to make it more squishy and ofc your own sleeping bag etc if you want to sleep over. 

This is an alcohol and drug-free event. Marijuana use is permitted outside.

***SquishLab is a facilitated space to practice navigating connection through platonic touch (or even proximity). Supported with concepts from play school, partner yoga, and our own childlike wisdom, in a trauma-informed container where everyone is safe to explore self-consent, boundary expression, communication, and so much more. 

Come alone or bring friends - we will partner/group up as it flows. Opening circle includes group agreements & procedural language practice like making requests and offers & practice saying and receiving "no". Then the facilitator guides us into (always optional) partner/group stretching/snuggling flows, including SquishLab favorites Friendship Flower, Squash Blossom & Lovezagna. Eventually we naturally squosh into more of a free play vibe where we might glob into different stacks and piles as is natural. 

This space is so rich! Come check it out! We are here to offer suggestions, demonstrate movements, & support your learning & healing process. Opt in and out as feels comfortable. This is all about your own internal experience in these contexts of shared space and deeper layers of connection. 

SquishLab events take place all over the city (and beyond) in the form of 2-hour workshops, slumber parties, cuddle concerts, camping trips, and weeklong retreats.  We squish somewhere almost every week - check the calendar on my website to see where we are squishing next.
