Herbal Vinegars: Add Some Zest to Your Food

Are you curious about working with the plants and herbs growing on the land around you but aren’t sure how to get started? Consider joining our monthly Herbal Workshop Series!

You will learn to identify, sustainably harvest, and make herbal preparations of the plants easily found in your neighborhood and backyard.

Time will be spent connecting with the plants and will also include an herb walk, foraging, and hands-on practical experience making various herbal preparations.

This workshop will focus on foraging herbs and weeds growing on the farm to create your own infused vinegar to take home. We will have herbal vinegars to taste and use on a salad created with in-season herbs and weeds growing on the farm. Herbal vinegars are used for more than fancy salad dressings; come and learn how else you can use them!

From the herbal curious to beginner and through to advanced herbalists are welcome. Ask us about joining the certificate program!

Please RSVP a minimum of two hours before class time. This workshop is held in the kitchen of the teal and white house. Park in the first lot on the right and come up the front steps when you arrive.
