The Rose Festival is a festival that’s held every year around the month of June. The Portland Waterfront Blues Festival is a popular musical event that’s held every year in the city. The event features some of the best blues musicians in and around the country, who perform for three to five days. It is the largest blues festival on the West Coast and is also the second-largest one in the entire country. The festival hosts at least 120,000 spectators every year and is held by the picturesque lakeside. The festival lines up famous jazz artists and musicians from all over the world to perform on stage.
The Portland Film Festival is another important festival in the city. It screens the best of local and national talent while offering guests a whole host of other activities. If you plan on visiting, you can enjoy the beer garden, networking workshops and different food carts that are present here. The Portland Beer Festival is the happening for beer lovers worldwide. The festival kicks off the city’s Craft beer month and features 70 beer breweries. Another interesting Portland festival is the Portland Greek Festival that is meant to celebrate all things Greek in the city. Experience the culture of Greece through traditional dances, musical performances, arts and crafts and cuisine.If you fancy yourself as a food lover, you can enjoy the Bite of Oregon Festival, now in its 33rd year. The festival features some of the best local cuisine, drinks and food carts. You also get to watch the best of Oregon’s chefs demonstrate their culinary skills. There is also the Portland Taco Festival that happens every August. Here you can enjoy a weekend of food and fun with your fellow taco lovers.
