DANA: Generosity, Contribution. Sarahjoy offers her teachings on a donation basis to the DAYA Foundation, so everything that you give will go directly to the Foundation. Your donations support our DAYA Recovery Living Homes and Prison Yoga Training Programs. It is customary in yogic and Buddhist traditions to support teachers through the practice of Dana, or the spiritual act of giving from the heart for teachings that you value. The aim is not so much to donate for your participation, but rather to donate in support of other students being able to join. By supporting a program, you are actively helping to grow the community.
