December Beginning Balboa Series

Hello Friends, Katie and I have exciting news! We are going to offer a beginning Balboa workshop series on Saturdays in December. The class dates are 12/6, 12/20, and 12/27. Classes are from 11am-12:30pm. The format is 1 hour of class with a 30 minute post-class practica. We are offering early bird pricing of $65 for those who sign up before December 1st. The class will cost $75 for those signing up on or after December 1st.

Discover the smooth, playful world of Balboa in this three-part, beginner-friendly workshop! We’ll start by building a strong foundation in connection and simple footwork, then add fun ad libs and rhythms to make your pure Bal feel natural and musical. Each week we’ll introduce and break down classic moves like come-arounds, promenades, and lollies. Whether you’re establishing your basics or leveling up your flow, this series will leave your Balboa feeling smooth, musical, and joyfully connected. No partner or prior Balboa experience needed, just bring your curiosity and love of swing!
