The intimate evening will provide an inside look at HDD/NW’s process of creating a major work of movement, place, and storytelling. Heidi Duckler will work with dancers, Charles Roy and Daniel Giron and composer/percussionist Machado Mijiga, creating a prologue to a new site specific work inspired by John Steinbeck’s Grapes of Wrath. This piece merges music, movement, image and architecture in a provocative transformation of place and community.Guests are invited to enjoy wine and snacks in a relaxed, salon-style environment that encourages creative conversation with the artists. Come As You Are is an immersive celebration of collaboration, creativity, and the gathering of community.
