During this event enjoy GameCon’s wide selection & variety of games! Ranging from party games, to co-ops, to strategic middleweight and fun social deception games. How Many People Attend? We regularly have 20 to 30 people attend with most of them arriving around 5:30 PM. ?Have your own games you’d like to play??Bring them! ?Never played board games before??No problem! We'll happily teach you in this low-pressure, welcoming environment. ?Feeling a little nervous??That’s totally natural. New games started about every 15 min or so, so it doesn’t matter what time you arrive we’ll have something for you to do. Also we are happy to teach you a new game. The thing that’s fantastic about attending board game events is it takes out the stress of not knowing what to talk about. Simply talk about the games, ask how to play the games, learn, laugh, strategize and enjoy in this welcoming environment surrounded by delicious food. If you’re new to town or simply would like to expand your friend group this can be a great, low stress way to meet new friends! If you’re new to games, this is a judgement free zone and board gamers are happy to take the time to explain and teach and, in all truth, love to share their hobby with new people. Because, board games are the best games. Heavy weight games & gamers welcome as well! While its not required, and people have brought & stared heavy weight games on the fly, because of the time commitment for a game like this you may want join our Discord(https://discord.gg/EjUSrsPKyt) to gain interest for your game and get a time set up for others to play. Newbies and veteran board gamers are always welcome! ?WHAT IS CORE? Collective Oregon Eateries, also known as CORE, is a indoor/outdoor community gathering and food cart space that is located along 82nd Avenue. See photos of the space below ? The indoor space is quite large, 6,500 square feet to be exact with ample amount of large tables perfect for gaming! Also provides clean bathrooms and will soon have indoor bar! Outdoors is a variety of delicious food carts to enjoy! We highly recommend sampling the bounty. See photos attached to this event to see how amazing this venue is.
