- **Event Description**: Books-A-Million is partnering with Altrusa Portland again for a Holiday Book Drive!! These book drives help us put brand new books into the hands of thousands of children in the Greater Portland area each year.

How can you help? Visit BAM! and when you check out with your purchase, the cashier will ask you if you would like to buy a book for a child to be donated to Altrusa of Portland. Books for all ages are appreciated, but our greatest need is for K - 2. Please stop by!

Altrusans will be onsite on several Saturdays and Sundays from 11AM until 1:30PM to tell you a bit about what we do and to answer your questions. Drive runs now through August 17, 2025.
