Acting for the Improviser Workshop with Paul Stein (S3 25)
Want to feel more confident onstage when improvising? Don’t let the back wall be your friend. Executive Director Paul Stein will offer tools and tips on improving your performance and utilizing the stage to the best of your abilities. This fun, exercise-filled workshop is for improvisers at all experience levels. Also beneficial for stand-ups and sketch performers.

ABOUT PAUL STEIN
(He/Him)
Paul Stein has directed and produced plays, comedy events and solo shows in theaters and festivals across the United States, Canada and Europe. Formerly an Executive Producer for Comedy Central, he supervised over 1,600 live presentations at the Comedy Central Stage in Los Angeles and worked with such noted performers as W. Kamau Bell, Russell Brand, Wyatt Cenac, Chris Garcia, Nikki Glaser, Marc Evan Jackson, Marc Maron, Randall Park, Jill Soloway, Sarah Silverman, Daniel Tosh, Reggie Watts, and Kristina Wong, to name a few.
Previously, he was a Venue Producer for HBO Networks at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, The Comedy Festival at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and the HBO Workspace in L.A. As a teacher, he has taught classes and workshops at UCB Theatre, I.O. West, Jet City Improv, Second City Hollywood, and Mi’s Westside Comedy. He is thrilled to be a resident of Portland.
