- **Event Description**: You’re invited to join us for a unique and intimate evening of Jazz, as the incredible ‘JET Trio’ will be bring their captivating brand of grooving, swinging jazz to Portishead.

The trio is comprised of 3 exciting young players in the South Wales music scene; drummer Jimmy Yeung, bassist Ethan Evans and pianist Tom Barber, all of whom contribute compositions to the shared repertoire of the group.

The trio formed around a shared love of the classic 1950’s and 60’s sounds of Cedar Walton, Thelonious Monk and Ahmad Jamal. JET have begun to carve their own sound, combining earthy grooves with a melodic sensibility and wry arrangements.

Location: Hosted in the upstairs room @ Hall and Woodhouse, Portishead - Overlooking the beautiful Portishead Marina.

Date / Time: Tuesday 21st April, Doors Open @ 7pm, Music starts @ 7:30pm
