Art Therapy ART CLASS with Abstractions by Colin Cook at The Hidden Gallery of Porters Lake.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and professional artists. Whether this is your first time putting paint to the canvas or you are a seasoned veteran of the arts we welcome you to participate in this unique experience.

Colin and Katherine of The Hidden Gallery will be your hosts.

Colin has developed a progressive form of Art Therapy by channeling his creativity onto the canvas in a bold and uninhibited way. He focuses on creating beautiful and attractive works of art that raise one's vibration as well as aid in mental physical and emotional healing.

During the class, he will share his secrets and tricks of the trade! Participants are encouraged to collaborate with Colin to create something beautiful in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

These classes are a great form of stress relief artistic expression and serve to unite local creatives in a positive and interactive way.

・You will be provided with a high-quality 16” x 20” archival acid-free cotton canvas pre-primed with a titanium acrylic gesso to create your artwork.

・You will receive a fresh pallet and will have access to our complete collection of Liquitex Basics Acrylic Paint. We have every colour available for you to use.

・Paint brushes are provided. We have a large variety available but feel free to bring your own supplies if you want although it is not necessary.

In this class, we will cover the following processes:

1. Subject matter & sketching out your plan.

2. Prepping your canvas.

3. Signature placement.

Come with a plan or work with the artist and collaborate to develop and create something special.
