Beginning as a celebration of the opening of the Lake Houston Parkway Bridge, Bridgefest has remained a beloved community tradition for more than 35 years!

This iconic event brings together hundreds of families, runners, and neighbors for a day of fitness, fun, and fellowship — all while supporting the Lake Houston Family YMCA and the Rotary Club of the Lake Houston Area.

💙 100% of net proceeds directly benefit the local community, funding youth programs, safety initiatives, scholarships, and outreach efforts that strengthen the Lake Houston area year-round.

Chip-timed 5K Run/Walk

Chip-timed 1-Mile Run/Walk (adaptive-friendly)

Family Festival with entertainment, local vendors, and community booths.

Custom Race Bib, Finisher Medal, and Bridgefest Race Shirt for all 5K and 1-Mile participants

NEW for 2026: Both the 5K and 1-Mile races will be officially chip-timed!
