Our Conservation District was referenda into Kalamazoo County in 1946 - Join us in celebrating 80 years of service!


Our Mission: "Working with our community to protect, conserve, and restore the natural resources of Kalamazoo County!"


5 pm Start: Enjoy discounted drinks, networking with conservation industry members, and socializing with the conservation-minded community of Kalamazoo!

Short Presentation (5:45 pm): Learn about what KCD has been up to and how we plan to grow with our community. 

Voting: We have two open board positions, nominees include Andrew Fern (2-year term) & Tricia Keala (4-year term). Absentee ballots are available before the event - in-person voting will occur from 5 pm - 8 pm on March 5th, 2026.

Silent Auction: Thank you to our sponsors for providing amazing silent auction items for this year's event! The auction ends at 8 pm, and silent auction items are distributed - if you are not present at this time, we will hold your item in our office for pick-up.

Food: Finger foods will be available for party attendees, and a discounted menu will be provided during the event.  

Drinks: Available for purchase at a discounted price during the event.

Games: Cards and dice will be available in seated areas for people to play

Awards: Volunteer of the Year, Liaison Service of the Year, Conservation Partner of the Year: Presented at 8:00 pm!
