- **Event Description**: Get an early start on your 2026 garden and brighten your winter! The Port Washington Garden Club invites you to our annual "Green Up Your Winter Blues" gardening seminar on Saturday, Feb. 14. The year's seminar will be offered again both in-person and online.

St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church
1525 N. Grant Street, Port Washington, WI

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.


What’s Included:
General registration includes three educational lectures and a lunchtime garden panel. Lectures and the panel may be attended in person or via Zoom.


Speakers and Sessions:

• Being a Backyard Scientist – Katie Feilen, Miami University (via Zoom)
• From Turf to Habitat – Danielle Bell, Native Roots Design
• Four Seasons of Flower Bulbs – Jenny San Filippo, Holland Bulb Farms
• Lunchtime Panel: Ask an expert your gardening questions


Optional In-Person Workshops
Workshops are in person only and require an additional fee:

• Pop-Up Cold Frame Workshop – $25
• Simple Winter Sowing – $10
• Plant ID Apps for 2026 – $8


Registration:
• General registration: $25
• Registration deadline: Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026
• Registration and payment available online or by check.
• All registrants will receive an email with event and Zoom access details
• Lecture sessions will be recorded and available after the event
• A percentage of each registration will be donated to The Food Pantry, Inc.
