Get ready for a holly-jolly celebration from 2-10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center, 9221 SE Event Center Place, during the City’s signature Festival of Lights and holiday tree-lighting ceremony.
The festival includes a midway carnival, live music and food trucks, leading into the Parade of Lights at 6 p.m. The tree lighting is 7:15 p.m. This year, marvel at the stunning 34-foot multi-color LED panel tree topped with a dazzling snowburst. Then, at 7:30 p.m., dance the night away with live music from FM BAND Miami, an electrifying Miami R&B group known for keeping the crowd singing, dancing and celebrating. Fireworks, presented by Zambelli Fireworks, begin at 9 p.m.
Outside Village Square, capture memories with Santa and enjoy festive photos in the 360-degree inflatable igloo photo booth. Enjoy a holiday marketplace, featuring handcrafted gifts and festive items from local vendors, and kids' activities.
Inside the Event Center from 2-7 p.m., explore the magical PSLinLights Experience, featuring twinkling lights, holiday crafts, City booths, festive photo ops and a charming model train display. Past winners of the PSLinLights decorating contest will be on hand to offer tips and tricks for a beautiful home display.
