- **Event Description**: Join us on Saturday Nov 29th for a fun out-and-back 5K (3.1 miles) starting in the lovely Forest Park in Port St. Joe, Florida! The course follows the scenic bike path around Buck Griffin Lake, winds through the tall pines, and crosses a small bridge onto a smooth, paved walking trail.

At mile 1.55, you’ll find an aid station with drinks before turning around and heading back toward the start/finish area. The course will be clearly marked with mile markers and supported by friendly volunteers along the way.

At the finish, enjoy hot chocolate and water, and take a break at the picnic tables near the bathrooms located at the start/finish area. Every finisher will receive a medal, and donations are appreciated — all proceeds go toward supporting the amazing work of the Turtle Rescue Center, helping protect sea turtles and our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches.

And best of all — you’ll even get to meet a few turtles while you’re there!
