Ozfish Central Moreton Bay is excited to hold its inaugural International Women’s Day event on Friday 6th March 2026. The purpose of International Women’s Day is to celebrate women’s achievements and raise awareness about gender equality. Central Moreton Bay Chapter would like to recognise the amazing contribution of women to the Shellfish Revolution Project with this special event.

Come and join our band of committed female volunteers as they manufacture reef modules and fill them with washed recycled oyster shell collected from oyster shuckers, seafood outlets and restaurants, ready for deployment into beautiful Moreton Bay and beyond.

What to bring

- Sun-smart clothing suitable for working outdoors.
- Closed-toe shoes or boots that can take a bit of water.
- Hat and sunscreen.
- If you have gloves, please bring them.
- Plenty of drinking water and a snack.

For your safety and comfort, please DO NOT wear skirts, shorts, sandals or thongs.
