Join us for a jaunt through the past at this restored railway station museum that includes a telegraph room, mail room, a 1930s style kitchen and parlour, a jail cell, as well as exhibits on the fur trade, Salish artifacts, the Royal Engineers, the CPR, and Port Moody’s Industrial history. You can also sketch in the refurbished 1921 railcar that includes a working washroom, two sleeping compartments restored in 1920s style, and a dining car.

♿️ Accessibility Note:
Both the railcar and the washrooms in the museum require navigating steps.

? Cost:
A $5 donation is recommended for admission to the museum and railcar.

? Sketch Throwdown:
We’ll meet in the lobby of the museum for the throwdown at 3:15pm.

☔ WEATHER NOTE
Primarily indoor sketching with optional outdoor sketching around the grounds if weather permits. 

? What to Bring: 
• Sketchbook
• Drawing tools (pens, pencils, markers, etc.)
• Optional: portable stool (Useful when drawing inside the museum)
• Water bottle or snack

  Note: Food and drinks are not permitted inside the museum or railcar.

• Millenium Skytrain to Moody Center station. Then a 10 minute walk (across the parking lot, over the bridge, and follow the curved path)
