Cooking with and Caring for Cast Iron – Chef Glenys - Cooking Class

Please read our before registering! This FAQ will answer questions about what to expect from our events, how to book, cancellation policies and more.

Learn about the versatility of Cast Iron, from slow cooking, simmering, braising, baking and more! Plus get the Chef's tips on how to season and care for the best results.

On the menu tonight:

- Chile Con Queso- cast iron holds a gentle heat as well as a high sear- so fondue it!

- Seared Thai Flank Steak- the sear is the flavour- with Herb Salad with Lime Dressing

- Sourdough “Boule”- an oven in the oven, creating an extraordinary crust.

- Porcini-Chianti Braised Lamb - perfectly paired with the bread for saucing the delicious gravy!

- Dutch Baby- the art of popovers and Yorkshires- we’ll do it with lemon and apples for dessert.

$119+ gst per person (please purchase one ticket per attendees)

Want to save the Eventbrite fee? You can register in person and over the phone directly with the store (604) 939-6200. Payment is required when you register - visa, MasterCard, gift certificates are accepted over the phone, cash and debit in person.

We have a 72 hours cancelation policy. If you need to cancel but have not given 72 hours notice, no refund, transfer to another class or credit will be issued, but you can send somebody in your place.

In the event that not enough participants are registered, we would have to cancel the class. We will notify registered participants at least 48 hrs prior and issue a full refund.

Please inquire prior to booking if there are any food concern. Menu modifications can not be provided during the event.
