Looking for a fun, hands-on way to connect with Aboriginal culture? Join local artist Aunty Debbs Robinson for an unforgettable afternoon of Traditional Aboriginal Basket Weaving!

In this 3.5 hour workshop, Aunty Debbs will guide you through the ancient art of indigenous basket weaving using natural materials, passing on the skills and knowledge of our ancestors in a warm, welcoming environment. It’s a unique chance to deepen your understanding of Australia’s Indigenous cultures while creating something truly special with your own hands.

When: Saturday 18th April 2026
Time: 12:30pm – 4.00pm
Where: Sea Scouts Hall, 9 Buller St Port Macquarie

All materials provided (including soft Madagascan raffia and beautiful hand-dyed raffia in a rainbow of colours)
Expert tuition for 3.5 hours from Debbs
A scrumptious afternoon tea to enjoy while you chat, connect, and share culture

Ticket Prices:
Adult: $60
Kids (4-13yrs): Only $30 (Half-price for your children/grandchildren!)
Family Discount: $30 for the first child, $20 for any additional children from the same family.
