On Sunday, February 22, between 10 am to 2 pm, there will be the opportunity for the public to tour the Marine Rescue radio base at Town Beach! (weather permitting) ?

All are welcome, and bring the family for a guided tour of the radio base. We will also have some of our vessels on display, and a free sausage sizzle for people who tour our radio operations buildng. ??

You will have the opportunity to enquire about being a Marine Rescue radio operator, and if interested discuss gaining your Short Wave Radio Operator Competency Certificate (SROCP), so that you can legally operate your marine VHF radios on your boat at sea. ??

Great opportunity see your local volunteer Marine Rescue radio operators in action, who are trained to save lives at sea. ?⚓️
