Port Mac Drum & Dance Workshop

Are you ready to let your inner drummer loose! Calling in some fun for the end of the year. This djembe workshop is a session focused on learning to play the djembe drum, which will include learning traditional rhythms, techniques, and playing in a group drum circle. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Instruments provided. Facilitated by Kaya Boom who is high energy, absolutely passionate and most importantly kind, gentle and patient teacher.
After the Djembe workshop is a dance class to live drumming.
This is high energy movements and a total cardio workout.
come and feel uplifted by the energy of the drum and get your dance steps in rhythm. Learn movements, dance steps and a Traditional West African choreography.
