📣 Back to School Community Giving Day – August 23, 2025! 📣

🕑 Time: 2 PM – 6 PM
Hello Kind Humans! This is Alexis from Kind Human 4 Human Kind and we are so excited to invite you to our Back to School Community Giving Day! Our mission is to help local families get a strong, confident start to the new school year, and this event is packed with resources to make that happen. 💼👟📚✂️
💥 What’s Available – ALL FREE:
🎒 Backpacks with school supplies – We are planning to have enough for 175 students, from preschool through high school (though this number IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE, AND SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED)
👟 A free pair of shoes – With sizes for infants through adults
✂️ Haircut vouchers – Provided by the generous team at Paul Mitchell The School – Great Lakes. (Please note: Haircuts will NOT be done on-site. Instead, vouchers will be handed out to allow for free cuts at a later date.)
🛍️ PLEASE NOTE:
There will also be a SEPERATE vendor market in the back of the building where you can shop local items. This is a separate event and not affiliated financially with Kind Human 4 Human Kind and WILL NOT be a part of the Community Giving Day.

📦 We Still Need Supplies – Supply Donations Urgently Needed!
We’re running low on the following items and would be so grateful for your help:
* 57 pencil boxes
* 19 rulers
* 36 scientific calculators
* Hundreds of pens
* Packages of loose-leaf paper
* Composition and spiral notebooks
* Binders
* Pencils
📍 Able to help? Here are our Drop-off Locations:
- You can drop off at any of our Item Donation Drop Boxes
- Or at the Kimball location — look for the blue bench! (If you choose this location, please reach out to us via messenger so we can make sure to get the supplies from outside!)
