Grab some gloves?, lace up your boots?, and join us this winter at Port Huron’s 16th Street Park for Winter Stewardship Days. ❄️ Invasive woody shrubs such as glossy buckthorn  have snuck into the forest and are shading out native shrubs and small trees such as highbush blueberry and sassafras.  Help us “Battle the Buckthorn”  this winter and renew this special urban forest. ?

No experience necessary!  All training and tools provided.  Just come with a love for the outdoors and enjoy some time making one of our forested parks truly special! ???
