The Men of The Deeps: Coal Miner's Christmas

For nearly 60 years, Cape Breton’s Men of the Deeps have travelled the globe as Canadian ambassadors, singing, dancing, and storytelling their way into hearts and minds. A choir of retired coal miners, they preserve and celebrate a unique way of life, sharing the songs and stories they’ve lived through first-hand. This holiday season, the men are back with your favourite re-imagined classics, brand-new originals from their December Coal Christmas album, and stories that’ll land somewhere in between your heart and your funny bone.
Special guest vocalist and recording artist Jenn Sheppard joins the jolly miners on stage, along with her sharp-witted alter ego, Ellsa, who brings just the right touch of cranky Christmas chaos. Come for the music. Stay for the stories. It’s not just a concert, it’s a connection.
