Let’s Stick Together: Collage Workshop 💜
Hosted by Andrea Pottyondy – Whitehead Community Centre 🧑🎨
In this workshop, you will make a mixed media paper collage artwork. Andrea will lead you in making your own unique piece. You will learn what collage is, about composition, materials used and how to assemble your collage into a beautiful artwork. Workshop will finish up with a group art show and critique! 🖼️💕
✂️ What you need to bring:
Please bring scissors and papers that you may want to incorporate into your artwork. These could include magazines, old wrapping paper, newsprint, letters, postcards, pages from your diary (!), and any other paper ephemera you wish to bring. Photographs should be photocopied.
Don’t forget your inner child because we are going to play!
🖌️Supplies provided:
Collage materials
Paper substrate to collage on
Collage glue, brushes and gloves
Handouts and lots of encouragement
Collages are like puzzles, stories and art experiments combined!
Ages 12 and up
