The University of Nigeria has announced Saturday, March 7, 2026, as the official date for the 52nd matriculation ceremony for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a memo from the Registrar’s office, signed by Dr. Mrs. C. N. Nnebedum, the event will take place by 10:00 AM at approved venues across the campus.
In addition, freshmen should note that the next key academic activity after matriculation will be the release of the first semester examination timetable. All new students are therefore advised to begin early preparation to avoid carryovers.
