Focus Africa Awards and dinner 2025

We are delighted to inform you that The Focus Africa Awards and UN Gender Priority Strategy induction will now hold at the Presidential Hotel Port Harcourt on the 20th of December 2025 by 4pm.

Focus Africa will be recorgnizing and honoring individuals and organizations who continue to make positive impacts in our communities.

Also, we are mandated to nominate women and men who are addressing gender issues for induction as a global ambassador for the United Nations GENDER PRIORITY STRATEGY

The Global Ambassadors Program is a visionary leadership platform within the Gender Priority Strategy (GEPS), designed to mobilize intergenerational community-based advocates who champion gender-responsive solutions to hunger, poverty, and systemic exclusion. Ambassadors serve as strategic messengers, bridge-builders, and mobilizers across continents, especially in African and diaspora communities.

When inducted as a Global Ambassador, you will have the platform to support, and promote the agenda of UN Women, the agreed conclusions on the Commission on the Status of Women, and other multifaceted issues affecting and hindering the overall integrity of women and gender issues around the world.
